How much do international cigarettes (Rothmans, Benson & Hedges, Dunhill) cost in Denmark?

Hi Smoker,

The brands you mention are not very common here. You can get them in tobacco shops and well-stocked supermarkets, however. I'm not sure about the exact price, but it will be aprx. US$ 5,00 for a package of 20 pc..

The cigarettes most people smoke in Denmark are produced by House of Prince. Brand names like Prince, King's, Look, Queen's, and Corner. One Philip Morris-brand is very popular though. Obviously Marlboro, which was introduced only 10-15 years ago after many years of almost monopoly from HoP. All of these sell for aprx. US$ 4,00 for a package of 20 pc..

25% of Danes are smokers. Many have stopped smoking the last years, but the number 25% seems to be steady - so far. New regulations are probably coming up.

Cigarettes sold in Denmark are usually stronger than the exact same brand in other countries, as Danes prefer strong tobacco.

Happy smoking

  1. Are you paying more than $5 per pack of cigs? I buy my cigs over at Duty Free Depot and I'm saving over 60% on cigarettes.
